Süleyman İshakoğlu, who has passed on his interest in social responsibility projects to his family, in addition to countless and nameless donations, has been the sponsor for the construction of a primary school in 1953, a state hospital building in 1954 and Moda Mosque in 1963. The primary school and the hospital building have been renovated by his family after his decease. His family has been following his path with a number of new social responsibility projects.
Süleyman İshakoğlu, together with his friends Abdulkadir Çavuşoğlu and Sabri Ülker, had a project design prepared for Taksim Mosque. The project received the oral approval of Süleyman Demirel, the prime minister of the time, but was never realized due to conjuncture in 1980.
Our founder, a pioneer in Turkish paint industry in the field of chemistry, with his accumulated knowledge on religion has written the book “Miracles, Aphorisms and Sermons from the QURAN”. The book was printed after being edited and approved by Fikri Yavuz, the mufti of the time.
